Blue Lines is my favourite. In fact you could argue that each album is slightly less good than the one before. Although 100th Window to Heligoland probably breaks this pattern.

You could, but there's no way Protection is better than Mezzanine. Mezzanine is just so refined and cohesive, while Protection is just a bunch of cool songs.

Alls I'm saying is that it's not superior to Mezzanine. In a ranking system there always has to be a loser.

I'm surprised 'bain loves Heliogland so much, though - and 100th Window is definitely not their weakest album.
