Geek Gaffe Alert: The Bowie album Kurt looks at in the cartoon uses a version of the sleeve that was extremely rare and wouldn't have crossed Kurt's path in a million years. They likely just copied the cover from a recent CD version.

I'm sure you can all sleep better tonight now.
It's gonna be real funny when there's a scene in the film talking about that rare cover and how much Kurt loved having it.

Yeah - this isn't going to be an easy watch.
I'm really intrigued by the animation, too. This could be something really special.
yeah i was thinking this was just going to be another hacked together doc but from the trailer it seems really well done. the animates scenes look cool and also how they brought some of his paintings and journal doodles to life is impressive.

i think everyone agrees this would be the best ending
this looks great, and im a documentary nerd so i know i'll love it. the animated parts w/ kurt talking look great, and im really interested to hear krist novacelic since they were friends since kids and he was with him through all the fame BS. plus he's generally awesome. the stuff from his childhood i could probably do w/o. almost seems like a cheap way to tug at the heart strings.
im interested to see how they handle his drug use and suicide. i hope they dont play up the 'rock n roll martyr' thing.
