Are you attracted to real woman? because she is inviting you but what are you doing?

Albini thinks hits are for sellouts tho.

I was listening to the Rolling Stone podcast with Charles R. Cross, mainly about his book that got expanded last year and the In Utero sessions and more.
Very interesting to hear he mentions Los Brujos, an argentinian band who had a hit in 1991 and always said Nirvana ripped them off when they heard the song in a radio station after they gave an interview when they played here. They used that song for Very Ape.
They said Grohl listened to the track and loved it, so it was very cool Cross talked about it.

Here is the song.
You can definitely hear it. Very Ape might be #2 after All Apologies on that album for me.

I just saw this post that in 1992 at the AMA’s, Firehouse, Nirvana, and Alice In Chains were up for favorite heavy metal/rock new artist. As of this year, all 3 singers died on April 5 (though I still don’t understand how they decisively figured that out about the 86 pounds left of Layne when they found him on April 19).
Anyway, it just occurred to me that this year is the 30th anniversary of Kurt’s death. I didn’t see or hear a thing. He was lauded as the John Lennon of Generation X. There really hasn’t been a rock icon since him. But all that said, no one really matters all that much when the living are busy carrying on.
