So looking at your top 5 i can say you only love In Utero. In Utero's sound...its pretty much Nevermind part 2 sometimes. I dont hear the big almighty Albini's hand at all.
Bleach is pure Sub Pop 1990's bliss, but the songwriting is not as good as maybe Nevermind or In Utero.

I also deeply love Bleach and Unplugged. Have probably listened to Unplugged the most.
Incesticide is fun!
I really hate Nevermind. But I don't think In Utero sounds anything like Nevermind.

Its has that big sound element too. A song like Heart Shapex Box could have been on Nevermind. None of the songs on In Utero belongs on Bleach, for example.

I agree a few of the In Utero songs could fit on Nevermind compositionally -- Heartshaped Box, Rape Me, Pennyroyal Tea, and All Apologies are all cut from the same cloth. But there's just no comparing the production in my mind. Nevermind is squished and glossy, and Kurt's voice is often doubled or otherwise affected. In Utero is big, meaty, blown out in the lower mids, and there are virtually no double-tracked vocals (I'd have to listen again to see if there are any at all).

yeah, the voice sounds different. Its more noticeable for me with the technology i have today, back in the day...not so much. But yeah Vig did work a lot on Cobain's voice. I just think most of the stuff in that album is mainly the same-y that Nevermind.
I remember back in the Kurt being super offended with Vs and saying In Utero was such a big departure from nevermind while Vs wasnt i thinking oh this guy is really jealous of PJ.

They are both extremely different. Only maybe Dissident and Leash could be on Ten. Maybe Pennyroyal Tea and Heart Shaped Box on Nevermind.
In any event, without the rabbit hole like descent into insanity, all four are phenomenal records.
