good stuff..when I had my record store in Denver he would occasionally come in..he ended up up giving one of my employees about 3 or 4 trumpet lessons as he was just starting to learn..good guy..way too young to go

That’s awesome! But also, I imagine, something of a B-tier story for a guy who has hung with Ron Carter.

But totally agree, too young. This whole album — “Rainbow Sign” — is amazing (with Bill Frisell, Jason Moran, and others).
