Im amazed on how good this album is....the tension, the silence, the darkness...i was reading an interview about Mick´s departure from the band and how they choose not to replace him, and that gave them this building tension in the songs..it really works.

It was one of the best performances I'd ever seen any band do when I saw it live in Denver.

Grinderman!

Seriously I love Nick Cave. I had trouble getting into him until my indie cousin whom I mentioned in another thread played me some Nick Cave in a car ride to a concert. It just clicked.

*edit* Push the Sky Away is a great album. How do these guys keep coming up with such strong material? This is what..album 15? Jubilee Street is incredible. The guitars buzz in just the right way.

yeah this record is all sorts of amazing...it has a menacing quietness that just keeps me going over it all the time.

Great set last night, tons of energy and Nick Cave is just The Man.

I just received this on vinyl (finally!) yesterday and...god damn. It sounds so much better than the MP3s I've been living with since it was released. I think I'm in love.
