I like A Day In the Life but I don’t understand why it regularly gets referred to as the best Beatles song. My attempt at objective nominations would be:
A Hard Day’s Night In My Life Tomorrow Never Knows Hey Jude Something

It was an interesting bracket, I voted in most rounds. Top 16 songs were:
A Day In The Life Something While My Guitar Gently Weeps Hey Jude Strawberry Fields Forever Abbey Road Medley Yesterday In My Life Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds Eleanor Rigby Across The Universe Blackbird Penny Lane Here Comes The Sun Here There And Everywhere Let It Be
Maybe an easier draw for a couple of songs made them get a little too high, but that's still a superb list of songs. Of course we all have our personal favorites. I would maybe take 14 of those, and add 6 personal favorites, for a great top 20.

Strawberry Fields Forever is probably as good a choice as any.
It’s really tough to compare the Abbey Road medley to everything else. It’s the pinnacle of Beatles music and the best ending to a band’s career in popular music history. But it’s not a song and shouldn’t be considered.
My least favorite song on the list is Penny Lane.
I’m so pleasantly surprised to see that Here There and Everywhere did so well.

According to my Beatles 2024 Daily Calendar, 55 years ago today, The Beatles played their celebrated Roof Top concert at the Apple headquarters in Savile Row.

Open-air recording session in lieu of a planned concert and for the benefit of cameras, yet mythologized as an actual concert.

Pedant alert.
When it comes to later-period Beatles live performances, I'll take what I can get.

I want to do a Beatles album ranking but I keep changing my list I can never decide on #1… it’s between Rubber Soul, White Album, and Sgt Pepper for me.

The older I get, the more I am drawn to the early stuff. At this point if I could only have one Beatles record, I’m pretty sure I’d pick Please Please Me.
That moment when the old world reveals the new one is just perfection to me…full of hope, driven by its own electrical current, and so wonderfully raw.
There’s no self-importance. No ego. Just this wonderful straddling of the things that have been great, and the things that will be.
