Did Paul ever write a song about his beard? And, his nonstop scratching/stroking of it?
"(All I Need Is) My Brandy, My Beard, and My Baby" Outtake circa White Album era, kind of Paul's response to "All You Need is Love," whose sentiment he agreed with but whose scope he felt was just a little too narrow. Kind of a vintage rock-n-roll-styled tune, not dissimilar to "Long Tall Sally." Ultimately shelved because he felt it was too close in spirit to the superior "Back In the USSR."

Ringo really doesn’t do much of anything in it. He works up Octopus’s Garden and that’s pretty much it. He barely says a word when they’re discussing all the business stuff.

I think what strikes me is how comfortable they are with each other. They sing out of tune, hit bum notes, make weird suggestions for song ideas and its just all part of the process. They don't appear self conscious at all. The other thing is how effortlessly Paul can whip up to his power vocal voice or whatever you wanna call it.

He plays the roll of drummer perfectly. Just there to service the song. Ive only seen part 1 so far but i love his contributions. No bitching at all.
