For Trag: I've been revisiting The Bends lately and I gotta say I was probably a little unfair in my prior assessment of it. It's not something that floors me, but it is some quite nice 90s guitar rock with a handful of cool prog and post-punk accoutrements. I listened to it yesterday and had a thought that I could probably file it alongside stuff like STP's Purple or Superunknown and Down on the Upside; classics of the era that I really wish I had experienced in full when I was going through my obsession with Nirvana and Pearl Jam so they could be enshrined in my consciousness too. |

For all the music that came out in the 90s, there’s very little that delivered some truly unique guitar playing. The Bends took an angular, skronky approach to the instrument, and the drums were so different from all the PJ and Soundgarden I was listening to — Selway not at all trying to impress the listener with power or agility. The combination was something that sounded damaged, but also futuristic. They’d obviously explore those ideas much more fully in future albums, but it’s a pretty astonishing record for a traditional rock setup. Guitar tones and chord changes that were so antithetical to everything else going on at the time. |

Does anybody know if there is a list of all the Radiohead concerts with soundboard audio that are available at this point? If not, could we compile one? I lost track of that shit a long time ago. |

I'm just going by their cryptic TikTok video earlier this month and a deep-seated yearning/awakening within the depths of my bowels, thinking maybe late this year to middle of next. |

Just watched that for a bit. Not a big enough fan of pre-OK Computer material to pique my interest. |
