The Smile have announced their next album, Wall of Eyes. The project is out January 26 via XL. The band also shared a video for the title track, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and starring Thom Yorke.
Wall of Eyes was recorded between Oxford and Abbey Road Studios, and was produced and mixed by Sam Petts-Davies. The album also features strings from the London Contemporary Orchestra, per a statement.

Listened to Hail to the Thief for the first time a couple weeks ago. Really liked it, have listened to it 2 or 3 more times since then. I don't know much Radiohead very well.
I for one, haven't recovered from what "You Will Never In Television Again" teased at. I thought they would follow that track's vibe through the whole record, but it turned out to be the oddball of the lot.
