re: boredom with music, I think I'd begun to feel like that around my mid-twenties, but I was in a bit of a funk generally around then.
Totally different story now: I don't think I've ever been as excited for new music as I am at present, there's just so much good stuff out there to discover.
Don't give up, you may just need to find something new to chew over (it was jazz and drone/ambient for me).

I've been on a Zeppelin kick since getting Celebration Day. That opening double blast in Good Times, Bad Times released some serious primal rock n' roll energy. Robert Plant's voice may not be so fantastic for this sound anymore, but they sounded great as a band on this show from 5 years ago (already!?).

For those that enjoy live Zep, two recently liberated '77 soundboards were uploaded over at ZOMB. Haven't listened yet, and not personally my favorite era of the band but crisp recordings almost always offer up a treat or two.

After a show together in London in December 2007, the band scrapped a plan to tour together because Plant was reportedly too busy. But now, Plant says, his schedule has loosened up a bit. "I've got nothing to do in 2014," Plant said.
Nice...I hope I get to hear these new tracks and the remasters sooner rather than later.
I watched some YouTube vids of Robert Plant's shows this year, and his voice sounds amazing considering his age. He also sounds MUCH better on the Zep material than he did in the reunion show in 2007.

The only albums I ever revisit anymore are Physical Graffiti and IV.

Houses isn't shabby either.

I'll be sure to pass on your feedback to the band.
