Was just giving Collapse into Now a spin earlier - what a great fucking band these guys were. It's a shame we're not going to get any new music from them
On the other hand, such a great way to go out.
I still listen to several songs from this album on the reg, with Discoverer the clubhouse leader.

I’m a big fan of this album. It’s one of my favorite REM albums for sure. And Discoverer is an AWESOME song. I absolutely love it. Did you know it was the last song they ever played together as a band? This is that final performance.

"Collapse" is a good album, but maybe the only one that feels superfluous to their catalog for me. I enjoy them when I listen to it, but I don't think any of the songs of that album are particularly memorable.

Yes! Love this performance of it - happy we have it.

This was a great album to go out with. I hadn't listened to any R.E.M. in the longest time and chucking this on the turntable made me realize how much I'd love some new music from these guys
