Kind of funny actually, a fan apparently tossed this up on stage, and he picked it up and showed the audience...
But it's relevant to this thread because of the title of their new album and the title of his last album are both in regards to 'Ghost Stories'... Using just that as a name for an album about Ghost Stories is kind of ass though... And I think Steven would agree, as he named his last album (that was also about Ghost Stories as well) affectionately - "The Raven that Refused to Sing and Other Stories..."
That's an infinitely better title right there for an album about Ghost Stories imho, than just naming it "Ghost Stories". Just saying...

Oh, i forgot about the closer, O, that's a beauty.
This is by far my favorite song on this album. Overall I'm disappointed, but I guess I should expect that. Since the beginning, this has always been a band that can be awesome and awful on the same album, and even in the same song - and on this album, they're just bland. I hated MX when it came out but I've come to appreciate it to an extent. Most of this is just bland.

The best most hysterically funny and accurate review. ever. "....Ghost Stories is from its arse to its f***ing elbow, one, long stagnant f***ing pool of premium grade f***ing cockwash! Which is funny, because I've said this on occasion about other bands as well.
I've never understood why some people hate Coldplay. There are much easier bands to hate, and there are far more difficult bands to like.

This album is an instant classic for me. After the overt poppy-ness of MX, I really love the general tone and moodiness of this one. It only really spikes up for Sky full of Stars, but the real gems are True Love, Another's Arms and O.

I don't know if i'd say instant classic, but it is a big step up from MX. The only track i'm iffy on is Ink, everything else is pretty solid except Sky Full of Stars - deleted it from my computer/iPod after about 3 listens, hate that song. The 2 bonus tracks (All Your Friends, Ghost Story) are really good, too.

After many attempts with their other albums, I'm OK with the fact that A Rush of Blood to the Head is the only one I care to listen to anymore. And that's...OK.
