Leave the cred you've for some reason convinced yourself you still have and discuss/post classics in here. It's safe, I promise.

(The cassette single of this song was the first music purchase I made in my entire life. In a lot of ways, it's still the best purchase I've ever made)

Front row seats, aiyo, I know she's on the nine inch.

Poetry in motion. I miss when this kind of artistry was infused into music.

I suppose if you're Paperboy and you've released Ditty, is there really anything left to achieve?

Yeah she's probably a raging homophobe, but she undoubtedly influenced Janelle Monae so that kind of lets her off.

And I fucking love(d) The Fugees.

Despite my love for hardcore punk and new wave growing up, I always liked New Edition.

I made a mix-tape once that started with something like... The Sisters of Mercy > Minor Threat > Joy Division > New Edition > Black Flag > The Cure

I was going to post some Fugees but The Score isn't early 90s.

How early is early?

Edit: before '95 is probably early.

1996 is most definitely in the latter half of the decade.
