Great shows this weekend as usual.

One thing I noticed....and its a theory im still working on but here it is:

My Morning Jacket fans are primed, prepped, and ready to become the new Jamily. There were tons of fans there with matching T Shirts with "One Big Family" on them. Also, the crowd participation is there as well. its not full on yet but i think its happening. Its only a matter of time.

Yeah I think the new jj is great

Dunno if it's because I'm on a big mmj kick, but it's right up there for aoty

trying real hard to talk myself into liking the new jj, just like i have with all mmj-related stuff post-okonokos. i guess it's fine?

Threw on The Waterfall this weekend and loved it as much as the last time. How is everyone feeling about a year and half later?

I saw them on NYE the day before I created this thread (which was the day this version of RM opened up). It was a blast.

I think MMJ really keeps JJ in check and brings the absolute best out of him.

holy shit this band is as good as it gets. They have taken the place as best live band for ol' strat. i get the cathartic release that Pearl Jam once did. The NYE shows were absurdly incredible.
