I may be able to help you. Give me a day or so.

My dad may actually have this and he hasn't touched his records in a while. If he does, I'm stealing it from him and sending it to you as a wedding gift.

It isn't really stealing. I go through his collection all the time. I tell him I'm taking some, and he keeps telling me to take them all. But I don't want them all, it is like 6 crates of records. I told them once I was sure I didn't want anything else, I'd help him sell them.

That's very thoughtful, but I don't think we'd be comfortable with that story. Feels like something you or your dad should hold onto.

I just texted my dad and asked him, and he said he didn't think he had that anyway. Sorry. And sorry my gift wouldn't have been good enough. I'll check my local record store tonight, as I'm going there anyway. But I fear you wouldn't believe it came from there so

I would not question it, friend. Again, very thoughtful gesture.

Not looking for a rare copy or anything, but we both want it to have a better story than "bought it on eBay", you know? We have, however, set a deadline for ourselves. If we don't chance across a copy before we're a month out from the big day, we'll have to internet shop.

Wait a minute, do you need the 7 inch to actually play the song at your wedding? You know, the DJ can probably access a digital copy to play on the big day.
