Bought this and Michael Chapman's "Wrecked Again" from Light in the Attic today. My resolution to buy fewer records this year is going great.

Why would you make such a silly resolution?

Further to that,

I just picked up Dave matthewsband live at red rocks 95 4 LP SET for 30 clams, I've never heard it, I'm not a massive fan, but it seemed like a righteous deal.

What's your "to-play" pile like? (i.e., LPs you've bought but not yet listened to) I did a quick count this morning and I have well over thirty. I am trying to make a dent in them today.

If you hadn’t elaborated on what “to-play” pile meant I would have guessed you were asking what kind of stacks we queue up for extended listening sessions, like during cooking or chores.

I don’t really have a stack of stuff I haven’t been able to get to yet. Maybe in my really rabid collecting days. There’s a few dusty old 70’s records that have never been touched. Mostly Michael Murphey and Bread.

So far today I've polished off:

Iron and Wine - Archive Series vol. 4
Will Johnson - Little Raider

And I have Binaural on the table right now. In the queue:

Phish - A Live One
Peter Bjorn and John - Writer's Block
Neil Young - Silver & Gold
Guster - Goldfly
Neil Young - Hitchhiker
The Mountain Goats - Goths

Basically anything I've bought in the past 5 months.

I expect no more CD cracks from you, mister -- if vinyl is truly the superior format, you are clearly squandering its potential
