Finding powered speakers to get the job done will be important too. I have audioengine A5s, but I didn't feel they were enough on their own and had to get audioengine's sub to add a little more punch.
I’ve got a pair of Martin Logan Electrostatic ESLs + a dynamo 500 sub. I’m good on that end.

Do your turntables spin the other way?
I got the new Phish and RATM reissues on Friday, plus the new Songs: Ohia box set arrived the same day. Haven't had a chance to listen to anything recently, though.

I went in to get the RATM one, but apparently they don't do the Black Friday releases here....
Don't all turntables spin anti-clockwise?

Rough Trade opened a satellite store in Fort Greene (25 minute walk from my apt) and I had no idea. Walked by the other day and there it was! Popped in and bought Colter Wall's 2017 debut on vinyl for less than I've seen it anywhere online.

hell yes
I was so pumped! Even the totally random and bizarre customer, who I'm sure is an alien disguised as a human, couldn't rattle me. I was just so excited!
