The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
The Broken Social Scene is the only thing I'm slightly interested in, and with the low pressing amount I won't hold my breath. But i I've gotten lucky before.

Yeah, the BSS, Mama Thornton, and maybe a couple of the various artist albums are the only thing that piqued my interest. But certainly all things I can live without.

Y'all aren't interested in that Mr. Big reissue????!!!!
Oddly, there's a lot of stuff on there that I'm into. I probably won't get any of them as I'm sure I'll have to work that day. But I'm surprised how many of these are appealing.

The last 2 drops (in June and July of this year), there was plenty of stuff on Discogs for sticker price within just a few hours and for a few days after. Retailers like Bull Moose will also put stuff up online a few days later.
The only thing from the spring/summer I haven't been able to find is the Warren Zevon double-LP.

Good to know. Maybe I can browse online that day or the next.

Theres too many RSDs now. I get that the last two years were weird, but wouldn’t doubt they keep going with that format to maximize releases. There’s just too much crap. The last few releases I was able to get for less than sticker price (including shipping) from Discogs or eBay.

If they don't get back to 2X/year, it's some bullshit.

Endtroducing 25th anniversary edition out this week as a 2LP with half-speed master, from the original DAT tapes. Plus it has all the tracks (until five years ago, all vinyl editions were missing WDYSLL? pt 4).
Just preordered, supposed to ship later this week. Never bought a half speed master before and I know opinions vary, but Shadow himself said that the process brought out all sorts of nuances he hadn’t heard in years, so I’m into it.

Damn that sounds awesome. I have an OG pressing and would be willing to sell it and get this. One of those albums that was one of those taste-shaping releases

The 4 RSD's a year have kind of turned me off to RSD in general. I feel like I can't keep up with the special releases I might want so I've just pretty much given up on going on RSD. I've had some decent luck finding "leftovers" the next day after one, so that's my new thing.
