Found it. Not really as high of a number for the total collection as I was expecting. I have a copy of Bloom by Beach House that is valued at $350. That's the most valuable record I own according to this.

That's pretty rad. I have a median collection value of over $17,000 ($27,000 max) with no idea how much I spent on it originally. Looking at my top 25, though, I think I only overpaid for 3 of them. I try not to think about value unless I'm trading something, though, because I buy to listen.

Same median for me. I've been selling a lot of high valued records lately though that I don't really listen too, came down from about 22k median 2 weeks ago.
Yeah I'm not interested in selling stuff either. I only got on discogs because I was buying a grateful dead LP from the marketplace and got bored enough to enter in my collection.

In honor of going to Bryan Ferry later this month I bought the Roxy Music collection. It's great. Some music is better on vinyl because it forces you to slow down and is a little more interactive. Roxy Music falls under that category. It's so seductive.

Anyone have a good quality 7" copy of Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" they'd like to sell me? I'm having trouble finding it in a record shop and this could be RM's way of wishing us love and happiness on our wedding day. It's going to be our first dance.

Try Discogs. My wife framed a 7'' of our first song and gave it to me as a wedding gift.

"Nothing Can Change This Love" by Sam Cooke. This is sort of a crummy photograph (and I needed to straighten it after), but you get the idea:

check ebay too. there seems to be a lot of different versions, not sure if you're looking for a specific one

Not looking for a rare copy or anything, but we both want it to have a better story than "bought it on eBay", you know? We have, however, set a deadline for ourselves. If we don't chance across a copy before we're a month out from the big day, we'll have to internet shop.
