definitely the weakest list, and by some margin, i've seen for an rsd event.

Yes.

Actually, it's more like Higgs' explanation.

The dude has a list of names. We'll all stand around the sidewalk outside the store drinking coffee, and once the 5th guy finishes looking at the first box of RSD records, they'll call my name, and I'll be allowed to go in and start looking.

What if any of the five ahead of you are late? Is there a time limit? Do they have to be there when their name is called?

Yes. This is all arranged around 15 minute slots. If they're not there when it's their turn, they get jumped. If they don't show by 8:15 they don't get in until all the appointments are done.

I'm gonna look for

Miles Davis - Live:Evil
Screamin' Jay Hawkins - My Little Shop of Horrors
Aerosmith - 1971: The Road Starts Hear

I won't be heartbroken if I miss out on any of it. It's just so easy at this store to just call and get a slot, why not?

Pretty friggin' cool. Would probably never use it myself, but I like where they're heading

Got this and the last A Tribe Called Quest LP which had been somewhat difficult to find as of late.

Nice
Was that Tribe album part of RSD or just one you stumbled across?

#4, two people dropped out. Of course, a guy in front of me spent more than $300.

Just one they finally restocked. It's a surprisingly quiet pressing for a rap record, and it's nice to have it spread across two LPs. I don't have much hip hop on vinyl, as I'm skeptical there's much of a benefit, but this one is a minor, though worthwhile improvement.

Anyone have The Low End Theory on vinyl? Always wanted to hear that on wax.

Yeah it’s a good pressing. I picked one up back when it was released and always enjoyed it luckily. Didn’t realize it had gotten harder to find. Maybe I’ll give it a spin tonight
