Guys, I am not a moderator! I swear to God! Why does everyone think I'm a moderator?

The 4 RSD's a year have kind of turned me off to RSD in general. I feel like I can't keep up with the special releases I might want so I've just pretty much given up on going on RSD. I've had some decent luck finding "leftovers" the next day after one, so that's my new thing.
What's the 4th one?
Idk, feels like there were 4 last year or will be this year. I'm so confused.

I think there's also a "We Love Record Stores" day in the UK that is unaffiliated with RSD; they do mostly color represses as opposed to new releases.

There were 4 in 2020. Now we're down to 3/year. Please stop being so dramatic, Ruddo.

Bought a local vinyl, the first in many years. Its Willy Crook´s latest. He did a fine mix with funk, r&b and soul and i was fan back in the day. He sadly died this year, so lots of memories.

Endtroducing 25th anniversary edition out this week as a 2LP with half-speed master, from the original DAT tapes. Plus it has all the tracks (until five years ago, all vinyl editions were missing WDYSLL? pt 4).
Just preordered, supposed to ship later this week. Never bought a half speed master before and I know opinions vary, but Shadow himself said that the process brought out all sorts of nuances he hadn’t heard in years, so I’m into it.

Shipping delayed 3-4 weeks, oh well
3-4 weeks....that sucks!
I have a pending pre-order that I placed on 10/1/20.

i wonder if they're all delayed, or just via certain distributors? I may be able to just get one at my local shop and cancel my pre-order...

There have certainly been big slow downs for the past year. This particular release, the label has been very good with communicating what's going on--they had a horrible experience with a manufacturer where the first pressing was rife with problems, so they switched to a different prrssing plant, where they've been in the queue for pressing since May. From the sound of it, bigger labels can pay to have their bigger pressings go to the front of the line, and that's been the situation for 4 months.

That Nick Cave session is amazing.
There's a part where he yells out, "Are there any requests?" People yell out every song in his catalog. He says, "Are there any requests from this very select list I prepared in advance?" Lol
My COVID test results ran later than expected. So I ended up going to work at 11:45 instead of 10am. Which meant I had time to swing by Rough Trade in mid-town before my shift.
