What We Lose in the Fire We Gain in the Flood is pretty fantastic. I haven't heard anything else, yet.

I figured it was time I listened to the whole of 'Generals', so I did, on the train the other week.
I found it brilliant. More eclectic and varied in sound than I'd normally listen to, probably, but with more and more listens since I'm realising that that's this band's talent. Variety of style and influence.

I love Generals but I think I like 'What we lose in the fire...' a little bit more.
I go back and forth. For a while I was all Generals (even though I adore the first one). After a while something shifted. I listen to What We Lose... more often now. But I don't know that I'll ever be able to pick between the two. I genuinely love every song on both. Which is reason number one that they are one of my favorite bands.
I only have the one album on my MP3 player. If anybody has another going spare *cough*

I'm trying to convert Sarah Harmless to The Mynabirds and it seems to be working.

"There's nothing you could do They haven't already done to you."
