Listening to Hop Along's Bark Your Head Off, Dog this morning -- haven't played this for a year or so, apart from a song on shuffle here and there. A tremendous record - Frances Quinlan is a force of nature, a strong lyricist and a singer with a one-of-a-kind voice and a remarkable sense of phrasing.

Pretty sure that Hop Along is my favorite band. Got into their pre-Get Disowned stuff this year (Freshman Year + EPs) and it sealed that opinion. Love every project (and honestly every song) Frances has put out to pieces.
I get why Bark Your Head Off, Dog gets most of the praise, and it's easily their most intricate and meticulously arranged album but I think it's also my personal least favorite (although I like it a bit more than Likewise). That's no diss though. "Look Of Love" is truly something else.
