Have you heard Tyler's cover of "Go Your Own Way," Mickey? It's very nice.
I hadn't but thanks for the tip, this is stellar.

Been listening to reunion era Dinosaur Jr as well and Green Mind. Farm and Beyond are as good as you are going to get from a reunited band, and I Bet On Sky is a lot better than I remembered.
J is probably only behind Steve Vai on my list of favorite guitarists.

I never really got into Dinosaur Jr but his last few solo albums have been fantastic. I should check out his earlier stuff because yeah, he is a really great and interesting sounding guitarist.

Grab a beer and blast this
you're welcome.
I did this exact thing last week. Before it was over I had a mohawk, so be careful!

Beyond, Farm and I Bet on Sky are just really more melodic and focused than the earlier records. I prefer them to the classic albums although Green Mind and Bug are great in their own way. Where You Been is uneven but the highs are so high.

I will do this thing. And if I end up with a mohawk, all the better!

William Tyler is hands down one of my favorite musicians working today, and Impossible Truth one of my favorite albums of the 2010's. I remember listening to this over and over on the train from Illinois to San Diego, while riding through some of the deserts in New Mexico and Arizona -- a breathtaking experience.
