I never enjoyed that bullshit. I hate jam bands, i hate bluegrass, i hate mountain music, i fucking hate the colorado music scene. Hate.
What about John Denver? Isn't that required if you live in Colorado?
I saw these guys in Big Sky and it was wonderful:
Del is like a cross between Roy Orbison and Hank Williams. Everything about him, from the shine on his shoes to his banter with his bandmates, is so earnest and old-timey. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

That's the scene where I am as well. If I played Bluegrass, I'd be raking in the dough around here. That, cover bands and metal. No room for people like me. The first band I put together did pretty well waaayyy back in 2007, but it's been a thankless struggle since. Hey, at least I can still entertain my cats!

Radiohead- The Best Of (2 cd edition). Such an excellent track list across this release. I had to add Climbing Up The Walls to mine, though. Love that song!

listening to the new Arcade Fire just so i can have a verified opinion of this thing rather than listening to 4 songs and saying it sucks.
so far, it sucks.
yeah, this is a miss for me. i enjoy a few sentiments and song meanings, a few one-liners, some instrumentation. but overall, i'll probably never listen to this again.
