I got right into these dude's recently on a post punk kick. Good stuff.
I've only heard their first two albums so far, but they're fantastic. I just discovered that YouTube music has Shock of Daylight and Heads and Hearts but they're miscategorized, so I'm looking forward to checking them out today.
It's a damn shame these guys didn't get the attention they deserved. They're right up there with the best post punk has to offer.

Tycho is one of those artists who so perfectly melds things I already love that the final product feels empty, like the minimalist beats + cool production + nostalgic vibes have somehow phase cancelled each other out to nothingness.
Just can’t get into those records despite their being perfect on paper.

I get this. I do enjoy Tycho, but there's a certain sterility to a lot of his music that makes anything deeper than surface-level appreciation difficult. I get the same kind of feeling from latter day El Ten Eleven.
