The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I'm glad you're revving up. The interviews I've read leading up to the new record have been indicating this kind of thing. Very exciting. Also, did you see that article that mentioned an alternate version of the new record that's totally paired down? Hopefully we'll get that version too at some point.
Also, I wonder if this is going to be the structure for the entire tour: an opening, sort of best of set, followed by Misseducation in its entirety. That would be pretty fucking baller if that's what this tour is. Maybe switch up some of the first set from time to time, especially if she's doing two shows in the same place. Could be awesome.

Oh yeah i posted a link before about that. Im guessing we will at some point if she is touring with that set up.

Totally. I couldn't remember who posted it. I thought it might have been you but I'm sorry I didn't remember. Yeah,... SUPER exciting!

Of course, this has long been the St. Vincent way — pairing highly stylized concepts with songs that are wry yet solemn, and creating sounds that exist in some previously unoccupied zone between pop and the avant-garde. But with Fear the Future, Clark’s vision feels both more immediate and fully realized than anything she’s done before. It’s proof positive that she is an army of one. And there’s nothing surreal about that.
And I died.
Despite a natural disinclination towards the type of marketing around this record, I'm still very, very excited to finally hear it.
What is the last movie that you saw in theaters? Oh, I saw this movie, Aubrey Plaza is in it. Ingrid Goes West, that’s the one. What did you think? I thought that it was, I guess, a satire of Instagram fame and how people aspire to that. But how did you feel about it? [Shrugs.] It was a movie, and I sat there and I watched it for an hour and a half. And I really like going, I like the ritual of going to movies.

That's exactly why I love St. Vincent. That sentence right there says it all. That's the essence for me. What an incredible journey so far. This album is gonna be amazing.

She's amazing. I hope I never meet her. I would end up making a complete ass of myself. God, Annie Clark would hate me so much.

You'd probably panic and ask her to play Leather Boots.
