If we just said "Fuck one song, Stip. Here's five." mine would probably look like this (in no order).
BPBilly w/ Cairo Gang - That's What Our Love Is Ryan Adams + Cardinals - Let It Ride LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends Old Man Gloom - The Volcano Soulsavers - Revival

Are we saying "Fuck one song, Stip"?
Then in addition to More Adventurous by Rilo Kiley, I'm gonna add...
All My Friends - LCD Soundsystem Stab Yr Heart - Nicky Wire The Mother We Share - CHVRCHES Obsessions - Marina & The Diamonds

2004-2013. Only one selection, so make it count.
It was a tough call between this and World Wide Suicide. I have a pretty similar relationship with both songs. They are each fast and aggressive numbers that came at a time where I was worried whether or not either band could be bothered to bring their A game anymore. In the end i'll give the nod to Living Well since I was more anxious for a great REM song (I like Riot Act a hell of a lot more than Around the Sun). In either case this was a fall in love all over again moment, and this may very well be the best fast song in REM's catalog. For that to come along at album 14 25 years in is remarkable.
I love everything about this song. The dirty riff, the vicious sarcasm, the take no shit aesthetic, the coiled anger, the rough and angular way the song chases after itself. It's a snarling, spitting dog trying to bite its own tail.
This version is from the amazing Live at the Olympia set of rehearsal shows where they are testing the works in progress that would become Accelerate.
[stip]Is this really the best on offer? This is pretty uninspiring stuff and kinda dull. And far too many words to deal with. Lyrics - Ugh. Looking through these posts this decade has been pretty shit.[/stip]

My gut says this one (fan video, but at least it's the studio version).
This song followed me through a lot of shit in my mid-late twenties.

Perhaps not über fave but number one at this moment:
I liked this too.
s'funny, if I was to jump on the "Fuck stip" bandwagon and go for 5 the very next song on this album would be in my selections:
Yeasayer - Tightrope TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me(and if you haven't checked it out this particular Letterman version is stellar) Felice Brothers - Frankie's Gun Dawes - If I Wanted Somebody

This was cool. I felt sorry for the guitar.
I love this band.
