Who's putting together The Silent Ballet lists, now that they're no longer extant? Nice to see that All Angels Gone put out a new one this year. I loved Quietly and was always a little disappointed that they never had a proper follow up.
I like A Closer Listen; they seem to be more open-minded than The Silent Ballet was, even though the focus is still on instrumental music. I just find myself overwhelmed by how much stuff there is, though. I wish there was some way to curate it. I have to give them props for getting me to check out that Forest Swords album.

I don't know who made the list. I think ACL has been launched by former TSB members.
And yes, there's too much stuff.
ACL is definitely staffed by a few expats from TSB. Richard Allen is quite active on the new site, and I know there's at least a few others from over there.
Re: that All Angels Gone album; I found it on Spotify, and it's totally not what I was expecting. Very symphonic and theatrical (I think those are the descriptions I'm looking for; lots of orchestral arrangements). I expected a change in direction after eight years, but not quite that. I'm not sure yet if it's something I'd be interested in going back to, or if I'll just be content with enjoying the first album.
