1. I mostly love Sound-Dust, because of Jim O'Rourke and John McEntire's Production.

2. I thought it was so weird how they sort of just tried to continue on when Mary got killed in that bike accident.

Schema, a one-off band that was Hovercraft (yes, of Beth Liebling fame) with Mary on vox. Not to be confused with the southern funk band. Couldn't find anything to link from Youtube, but if you like Hovercraft and Stereolab, you'll like Schema.

oh damn! I had no idea about this, and I do a Beth Liebling search about once a year. I've got a nice collection of Hovercraft music + memorabilia: All their records on vinyl, 7" pressings, a VHS they sold at shows back in the day, and their 'zine. I'd love to hear something from these sessions. Just tweeted at the studio, maybe they'll share something?

I like those Hovercraft albums too (I have both on CD, and the Schema album) and also periodically check for any sign of renewed musical activity from Beth, this was quite a surprise.

I was going to offer you my bootleg of Space Helmet (Hovercraft before they were called Hovercraft), but it seems to be missing from my digital library. I'll never track that one down again.
