Post stuff that you don't want to start a thread for. Silversun Pickups are a much finer band than I thought they'd be. Here's the song that most brings them in line with Smashing Pumpkins, in my humble opinion...
The guitar tones and vocal melodies really do show that these dudebros are worthy of your accolades. Anyone willing to share?

This is also the greatest pop song I've heard in forever.

This was my favorite song on my path to Masters in Starcraft. Plot twist: I never got there.

Be bold. I won't judge.

Fuckin a' Doc, you understand exactly the role of this thread. I will have to sample this stuff later.

im not sure if those were the best performances to start with, but i gave them a quick listen before i posted them and the sounded pretty solid. but they are a band that was 1 of 2 openers for a couple of head and the heart shows we went to a couple of years ago, and they really stuck with me and have become a real favorite of mine

Were you tripped up by the vocals? I can understand that.

i think that is the only thing that has kept me from really getting onto them, but we are still hoping to see them live sometime which might change everything

No arrangements can be too Smashing Pumpkins. I think you misspoke. Heh. Heheh. (No but for real what does that even mean?)

I kinda love this band so far, though they've only released three songs. They have an EP coming out on November 5th. Jarrod Gorbel (The Honorary Title) and Blake Sennett (Rilo Kiley, The Elected) are both in this band.
This is easily the frontrunner for my single of the year...
And these are their other two tracks they've released so far...

I started a thread for these guys but no one cared I've seen them a couple of times in shitty little venues which mean you can get close enough for the drummer to sweat all over you. Me and Harmless had to use the goods lift to get out of one venue (disabled access is fun!) and found the keyboard player having a smoke out by the bins so we hung around and smoked and chatted for a bit until I couldn't remember the title of my favourite song and so had to leave in embarrassment.
This is a cute little video and I love the song. It's from 2007 ish.

This story is drenched in endearment. I'll sample the wares when I don the headphones later.

i'm a big fan of deftones, but somehow completely overlooked the side project ††† (crosses)... its more electronic, so don't think it's similar to deftones
been enjoying it lately...
or this one's a bit more pop oriented
edit: dammit... i don't know why the videos aren't embedding... it's never done that to me before
