No, I like "Clouds" a lot (though I am still partial to what came after)--I was speaking mainly to the little bits I've heard of their pre-1990's stuff. I will check out "Hit to Death in the Future Head" for sure. Thanks for the rec.

Still have yet to hear "Zaireeka."

If what Scurlock says is true, Coyne really is a grade-A douchebag.

I've been following it for a month or so and Kliph is pretty adamant on this topic.

I don't think this reflects particularly well on either of them.

Musicians, hey.

Again, if it's true, I feel like Wayne comes off a lot worse in this. Pending further comment from his side.

As I stated earlier, I decided to keep publicly silent about the reason behind my firing for a number of reasons. At first, I thought he would likely have a change of heart and I would be back where I felt I belonged and everything would move forward. But then he posted the photo on Instagram of his girlfriend, a roadie, Sarah from Phantogram and (to really drive his point home) A DOG wearing a headdress

A DOG

Just some white people being respectful of the culture their forefathers raped and pillaged, is all.

The music world could use more of these facebook-level feuds, I say.

Heh I just saw a Price is Right episode with two people dressed as indians. I think they got like $200 for a chapstick. Wayne Brady is the real monster here.

It's pretty easy to fire your drummer when you have Steven Fucking Drozd in your back pocket.

this is the thread where we get excited about all the spicy things Roger Waters has to say about his former bandmates Slash and Probably Gallagher in the NME.

Contribute or fuck off.

Some would consider a comment on a message board to be contributing. Sorry to disturb your top secret internet party.

I'm actually enjoying the studio version of their Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds cover with Miley Cyrus. It's noisy and fuzzed out like you've come to expect from recent Lips output and Mileys vocals are pretty tastefully done. People on the fb's and twiters are kind of losing their shit over this one.
