Is DOOM still the best mc of all time or has the narrative changed in the past few years? I don’t keep up.

Who’s the best female mc’s right now? I like Cardi B, but she just happens to be at the forefront right now and I am new to the game.

I can’t say much for female mcs but I’ve heard a few SZA songs and she seems legit.

Doom will probably stay at the top of my list forever. The only one I can see bumping him is Kendrick, which is very close.

I picked up the King Geedorah LP and hadn’t heard it in years, it is just a fantastic piece of art.

Doom has slowed down significantly in output and it seems like it’s bound to slow even more. His son passed away recently.

Yeah, I saw about DOOM’s son. :(

I stopped following the latest news in regards to any new DOOM music. I just assume it’s not happening until it does. I don’t know if he’s my GOAT but he’s certainly too 5. Kenny is up there as well.

SZA is insanely talented. I was looking for similar recs, or even any women that are great lyricists with good flow without the “traditional singing” vocal talent.

DOOM released something like a third of an album he was doing with adult swim, where he released one track per week. 5 or 6 songs in and he cancelled it.

Cardi B and SZA is some facepalm level whack shit.

Nas has reached Billy Corgan status for me. I'll listen, but I won't hold my breath for something great.

This is one of my favorite albums of the year so far -- Skyzoo's All the Brilliant Things, on the Mello Music Group label.
