La Cucaracha was the first Ween album that I didn’t instantly love when it came out. I’ve really never spent that much time with it, at least not even close to as much time as I have with the other records. But I’d agree that “Your Party” is good shit. “Friends” & “Shamemaker” are really good too, and I vaguely recall casually enjoying a couple others, but La Cucaracha doesn’t really come close to the Ween classics. |
