Damn Jorge! What a great listen.
I also dug the recommendations. I would add Paté de Fuá and maybe Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado (I know Paté is not entirely from Argentina, but they're right up Costello's dixieland jazzy stuff).

El Mató / the whole Laptra scene is cool. I don't see a whole lot of parallels with EC but I do like them.

I've actually never heard of Paté de Fuá... I'll look into them

Their latest 2021 release is a covers album, so maybe leave that one for the end 8-)
