Total grower, that one. First listen to War Elephant and I was hooked. Divine Providence took more time. Chevy Express was a hit from the first listen, though.

it is sort of fitting. I caught one of their shows in Phoenix a few years ago, they are the smelliest band I've ever seen. My girlfriend and I were front row and the venue only held about 150 people so we were literally "on" their stage area. I was regretting that decision to be so close by the end of the evening. John, the lead singer, he has a tattoo of a deer tick on his arm, too. Not sure what his obsession is with ticks...
