It’s a double album? Ugh! Well, here’s to never getting to know any of it intimately then.
How does this work? Did everyone who prepurchased just get more for their money? Is the extra material digital? Does everyone just have to buy more? Pay for an upgrade?

TTPD might be the worst thing she’s done in awhile. It’s a snooze fest, recycled melodies and just flat out boring so far. Everyone around her has stepped up their game.

It's just an alternate deluxe version of the record.
The"standard" version that's the originally announced 16 songs or whatever is also available. That's what people pre-ordered. The Anthology version is a double record and only available digitally as far as I've seen. I'm sure that will change be very soon if it hasn't already.

This is what all the Swifties in my first class are saying. They're pretty upset lol.

I feel like this has been a thing with her for a while, unfortunately -- I think she's clearly a gifted writer, has been really effective at adapting her songs to a variety of sonic environments, etc., but that "raw musicianship" element of her work is really not where she's focused her growth.
I've been a fan of hers for a long time, but I think I've kind of hit my wall -- her songs feel like they do and say the same things over and over, and more and more I just feel like the headspace they occupy isn't something I connect with. I turned TTPD off after a few songs -- I may come back to it, but after a 10 minutes of hearing about her ex destroying sandcastles, his "quiet treason," how she wants to kill her ex’s new GF who grows flowers in their backyard, etc., I'd had my fill.

This is really boring. I mean, if you loved the most recent Arctic Monkeys record, you’re going to love this. Word salad, recycled beats and melodies, no great hooks. This is her first misstep. Bummer.

Yeah, I haven't listened to this new Swift record yet at all, but the last two Arctic Monkeys records were lit!
