I listened to the two tracks posted a couple of pages back - not bad at all. I was pleasantly surprised
This is the first time I've given Taylor a listen
yeah, its good. I recently got into her again after a long time. Lover is another good one. Loved the netflix doc too.
I've not watched the Netflix doco. I still enjoy having sex with my wife, and something tells me she'd lose all respect for me if she caught me watching that.

The funniest part about this for me is that I think James Blake and the The National are both WAY more boring than Taylor Swift. Like, I’d give her career output to date a 6/10, and those other guys a 2/10. Not even gonna bother trying this new one.
just read the review and its an awful classic pitchfork one.
I wonder, what is the precedent for reviewers stylizing album and song titles in all lowercase? There are no doubt hundreds of albums where the album and song titles are stylized in all lowercase in the album art, but reviews use the correct formatting. Is it some weird demand in the press kit?

My guess is it’s a lack of any real editorial input where they hash out AP style guides vs artists’ intentions.
I imagine the editors of Pitchfork as cramming in a few hours in between band practice and their barista gig.

Trag with the completely random James Blake reference apropos of nothing ...

I don't even hate Pitchfork -- I actually find a few great albums from them each year! I just like poking fun at them because they take themselves way too seriously for the quality of content they deliver.
