the new one doesnt gets close to their good era, but its better than drones and simulation theory for sure
Yep, overall much better and less cringey than the last two.

It definitely sounds like an homage to some of their better sounds and songs - kind of like what REM did with Collapse Into Now (though obviously MUCH less successfully).
'Ghosts' is probably the most tuneful and least cringey ballad they've done since 'Endlessly'
And 'You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween' is just plain silly fun
