Everything by Cocteau Twins...

Elizabeth Fraser is the best in the biz at this craft!

Characterizing having a negative opinion on RHCP as a "hot take" is wild.

Hell yeah. Heaven or Las Vegas is brilliant and where she comes closest to sounding like actual words

this is neither hot nor wild. It's just tired; it's like having a negative opinion about the Eagles. No one could reasonably argue it's wrong to hate RHCP; yet no RHCP fan will ever remotely have their mind changed about loving the band.

What's most upsetting is how completely banal jorge is about this one thing.

You should change your band's name to Tedious Jorges.

What do you want me to say that wouldn't be banal? I'm not going to write an essay examining why "Soul to Squeeze" sucks; I already feel like I wasted the 3 minutes I spent listening to it after posting that. I've also made several posts in other threads about the RHCP songs I do like. Do you just want me to pretend to like them more?

I can't do that, but if it'll make you feel better maybe next time I voice a negative opinion about the band you can listen to the instrumental climax of "Around the World" and fantasize about beating me up or whatever

Is this video I posted also not available in other people's countries? Is that why everyone isn't complimenting me on what a great selection it is?

"Both the name of the song and its lyrics are gibberish but are intended to sound like English in an American accent."

See, you're trying so hard again. The "or whatever" is the tell. You have an encyclopedic knowledge of RM and I just posted about it like 20 minutes ago.
