Not in recent memory. Two back to back nights are starting to drain on me nowadays.

But The Ex are playing in Jersey City at this tiny space that WFMU opened a year or so ago and I've had tickets since June. Ex Cult are out in Brooklyn that night. October is pretty awesome, even though I hate CMJ, it brings in a ton of bands. Especially the Aussies. Saw Cuntz last night and next Sunday Deaf Wish are playing. They were one of the best and loudest shows I saw last year.

I saw J Mascis solo and then Deerhoof late the same night. Good times but that was a few years back now.

I mean I like Fuzz and have their first single on Trouble In Mind. I saw them live, maybe their first NY show, and it was a blast. But, after it was like, "yeah, I know where this is headed" and I kind of lost interest. The new one has been getting great reviews, but I feel like it's meant for the under 25 crowd.

I saw Lanegan 2 years ago do a solo show. When we got to the car my sister got an alert that Peach Kelli Pop was playing down the street, we showed up, the band played a 30 minute set and we were on our way home. Pretty fun night. Weekday too.

II is amazing guys, 25 and under, F.U.!!!! Say Hello is killer! Good fun, heavy, fast record. Charles Moothart is a God.

Yeah man, they're a great band and play really well together. It's just, Fuzz doesn't really do it for me. I know what I'm getting and it's not all that interesting.

I thought they did a good job taking all three writers and spreading it out on the new one. I'm really enjoying. Bit the bullet on the deluxe LP, eagerly awaiting arrival.

What's the deluxe? A felt sleeve or something?

I think it was like gold foil, but with no extra tracks. Not 100% sure though.

Gold foil artwork. Gold vinyl, hopefully metallic. A poster, and I'm going to guess something that was not mentioned.

It's up for pre-order on Amazon and Bull Moose.

Yeah man, I love it.

Zeb did you ever check out Meatbodies? Chad, Fuzz's bass player is the lead singer/guitar. They have a solid album.

The only reason I checked is because you said it wasn't a RSD release!

I had my local order it.

Apparently Ty has a new band with Cory Hanson from Wand now,...Makers. Also could just be his new backing band for his next solo record, due early next year.
