I already pulled the trigger on the "indie exclusive" version.

Rough Trade's description sells it pretty hard.

Billie Eilish’s third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs— ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end—does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, FINNEAS, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles.

How many variants?

how are the drums?

That's gonna be an interesting thing to keep an eye on, after her remarks on that subject.

*Edit: I see at least 5 available for pre-order on her official store.

Cola (formerly Ought) announced a new album, The Gloss, and with that a couple of singles. Bitter Melon was released last month, Pallor Tricks today. Love these guys.

if it's the same reel I've seen, there are no drums, but it does sound nice

I meant "we'll be good" 'cause I can't imagine being as anal about her drum sounds.

i figure someone here will be into this. it's by Cindy Lee, the alter-ego of Patrick Flegel, who used to be in a band called Women...kinda noise rock. Maybe someone here has heard of them...our Canadian friends? This album is called Diamond Jubilee, and it's only available by going here or via Youtube (below), except on YT it's not broken up into tracks. It's about 2 hours long, and I'm only a handful of songs in, but so far it's good. Very 60s sound to it. You can download the wav files (32 songs) for a donation, or listen for free like I am, I guess. You can read more about it here - yes, I still read pitchfork.

Hadn't taken a trip to geocities in ages! Very cool stuff indeed.
I'm playing this, and the new Old 97's record all day.

The new Vampire Weekend album is really good. It's the first/only Vampire Weekend album I've ever listened to front to back.
