Don't know anything about the band but really enjoy the groove of this song: Charlie Needs Braces - Saltwater People
This is what I imagine the Unitarian Universalist church I grew up in is like nowadays

so I can't remember who it was that wanted Irish folk recommendations from me (and I'm too lazy to check my dms), BUT you can't get better than LANKUM and they have a new album
contemporary traditional Irish folk music from Dublin, I've loved them since the beginning but their new album, "False Lankum" (the title taken from the same traditional song their name is), is peak awesomeness, their absolute best, I think
redacted's most snatched (by far) lp from 2023 so far, Ryuichi Sakamoto (坂本龍一) - 12
This was gorgeous btw. Love me some Ryuichi Sakamoto.

How does that Manchester Orchestra EP stack up against The Million Masks of God?
I think Masks is better (I've only listened to the new EP three times). It's a great little compliment. I don't think there's a dud track on it, also nothing as high as the highest on Masks.

Side A of Masks was pretty strong as is this current EP. They have release many standalone singles that I really like too but have yet to release a whole EP/LP that I think is consistently great.
Have you heard the Phoebe Bridgers version of The Gold? They have a crazy good collection of tracks.
