Can you provide an example? I just opened the Rolling Stone top 2023 albums list just to check and immediately saw Metallica, Wilco, Blur, the National, Rolling Stones...

Also I haven't listened to his new album yet but Sufjan is a great artist

It's become a bit of a meme at this point, but "no King Gizzard?" hit especially hard this year. I guess they're no longer cool and everyone is finally fed up with their release schedule.

I mean, when you release only a metal album and an album made solely with synthesizers, you might not get the same attention.

Listened to the first 3 or 4 songs i like them enough, i appreciate the guitar´s sound and the production but im still not that surprised. Vampire is a great song tough, and she clearly has talent.

Ill try to finish the album soon.

I know she has a writing credit on deja vu because it's an iteration of Swift's Cruel Summer (which Annie has a writing credit it on), but I'm not aware of an actual collab between Annie and Olivia.

But I'm wrong a lot. I'd love to be wrong here. I love both those ladies and would welcome a whole fucking album of both of them. :bammer:

this one came out of nowhere for me. they're called PACKS, and they put out an album back in March, but it wasn't on my radar until i heard one of their songs for a forthcoming 2024 album. i learned about them via stereogum. yes, i still read music blogs to find new music.

they're not exactly breaking new ground, but they scratch an itch for me. the itch is modern bands that pull from the early-to-mid 90s. this is from their 2023 album, Crispy Crunchy Nothing.
