And what do you think of those albums Wease
And the choice to make them self-titled
Alice In Chains- Great
Metallica- don’t care one way or the other. I’m not a fan of them. Hell I’ve never even owned the album but it has become so ingrained in rock music, you can’t help but know each of the tunes every time you hear them.
Self titling doesn’t bother me. They have their reasons and none of them have to do with me or inform my decision to buy the album.

Fleetwood Mac. Superb album. The joining of Buckingham/Nicks. The beginning of a whole new era.
I have never listened to that album. I should.
Hell yeah you should
You should also maybe do a Fleetwood Mac journey, beginning with the Peter Green years. I’d follow that whole thread
If I can find all the early shit, that’s what I’m getting ready to do. Actually it’s the stuff directly prior to the renewal that’ll probably be hardest to find.

My older cousin is a diehard fan of the blues years. She played a lot of records when I lived in Idaho and they all kind of blurred together. I really connected with Kiln House and Then Play On (neither one features McVie in a big way, though she does add some backing tracking to Kiln House).

My suggestion is that you start with Green’s last album with the Bluesbreakers, then just do the FM studio albums from the top. I suggest a detour to the pre-FM Buckingham & Nicks record, as well as their solo stuff once they went their own way (harhar)

Other than the solo stuff, this was my exact plan.

The 1-2 punch from Tusk to Buckingham’s solo followup Law & Order is fantastic.
