Flipping through my iTunes library and thinking back on the bands I’ve emblazoned across my chest over the years.
Who YA got?
Alice In Chains Andrew McMahon Bush Flight To Mars Jet Jimi Hendrix Pearl Jam Soundgarden Temple of the Dog
That’s a much shorter list than I would have thought. Anyway my favorite one was probably Soundgarden. I just looked it up and someone is selling it for $250.
Trampled by Turtles (cool looking bison head) My Morning Jacket (it still moves era) Phosphorescent lion design...looks reggae-ish Hiss Golden Messenger Heart Like a Levee era symbols/wagon wheel design Field Report car crash, Summertime Songs era Wilco Schmilco pre-order bonus t-shirt...was too big for a while, now it fits again Beatles Abbey Road cover from Old Navy...pajama shirt Tallest Man on Earth...fits weird
Out of Rotation:
Drive-By Truckers Big To-Do era...design sucks, looks like an Ed Hardy/Affliction shirt Hiss Golden Messenger pink Hallelujah Anyhow, too small now that I'm fat again Felice Brothers favorite waitress pre-order t-shirt...comes down to my knees Ten Club I'm an Anal Log (NEVER WORN, WTF)

Basically all I wore in college. Off the top of my head:
Akron/Family Deerhunter British Sea Power Caribou Explosions in the Sky The National Fuck Buttons Iron and Wine Radiohead (from the In_Rainbows tour)
Probably the most embarrassing would be Tokyo Police Club, though I bought that one after their first ep, which I maintain was okay.

Never went crazy for this. Had a bunch of PJ shirts, also a Three Fish shirt. A handful of local bands in the Boston/NYC area. I did make myself a Kill Rock Stars hat that I wore for like three years.

I went to so many shows in college that at a certain point it was easier than shopping or developing a style.

about a year ago i found a storage tub of clothes of mine sealed since the early 2000s and worked several seattle era back into the rotation:
- 1998 PJ red tour t-shirt with yellow guy w gun on it - 2000 Blue PJ binaural tour shirt with man and ape - Chris Cornell Euphoria Morning black shirt (bought on the original tour)
I will wear them (mostly just around the house) until the holes get too extreme
also found a pair of cargo-pocketed pajama pants in that tub
circa 1996 if i recall correctly
wearing them right now
can never have too many pajama pants
shirts no longer with me that I miss (too many holes, had to toss):
RATM BOLA Tour 1999 Jimi Hendrix - pic of him from one of the re-issued albums
