So far three of my all time favorite artists have put out records that share these traits in common:
1. Really inspired songwriting, lyrics and production that rewards repeated listens 2. More of a low-key vibe compared to their previous works 3. Bloated song selection that would benefit from some judicious trimming
I’m wondering if this isn’t all some function of the pandemic production process
