Has anyone given the new Bjork a solid listen? Snatch? Higgs?

Nope. For some reason I haven't gotten to that one yet.

I listened to three songs with headphones last night before moving on. I thought the music was magnificent — immediately my favorite since Vespertine. I’m just not as into her voice or lyrics any more. I’ll revisit again at some point because the music was that good.

Really loving Nymph by Shygirl. Great pop songs with an experimental bent, beautiful production

I haven't listened to the full album but I like that "Atopos" is like a grotesquely mutated reggaeton

That specific song came onto my radio as I was driving into work this morning. I heard the voice and, as is my wont whenever her name comes up, mentally yelled "BJEEEERK!!" in my head, and decided to give it a chance and have a listen. I lasted about 15 seconds before switching the station. Just can't do it.

On the flipside though, I also heard Pixies Thunder and Lightning on the same drive, and that was pretty damn cool. I loved the deep piano intro and clean ending acoustic guitar in particular.

I know I recently said I wasn't going to try to keep up with these guys anymore but that was pretty great. Loved the vid too.

do you think it's purely a coincidence that all three album covers have similar colors?

i'm sure there's something to it. but i can't imagine they're so taylor swiftian as to plant easter eggs two albums in advance.

Cool guitars in that Alvvays tune. Pity it's paired with some of the most vanilla vocals I've ever heard.

I'm sorry

The newest Gizz album, Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushroom and Lava, is phenomenal.

I can see why their fanbase gets a lot of shit for being so ravenous... some would say cultish. They're just that good.

New death cab

oh yeah that too

Out today

oooooh *heads out to Amazon Music*

it's a great album, cohesive, flows beautifully

The DCFC album is fantastic. A Gen X opus. And I think this song was purposely written for me.
