I'm going to say Built to Spill as well. Keep it Like a Secret is an album I know by heart, Perfect From Now On is too, but less so. After that it's just a scattershot list of tracks I've favorited on Spotify.

Their sound, at least on the couple of albums I'm very familiar with, hits a sweet spot for me when I want something noisy jammy that's more playful than Sonic Youth but not as zany as Pavement. I will say the vocals are a weak point for me though. Better sound than Isaac Brock though.

Their initial run is incredible, and they only really dropped the ball with The Golden Casket recently.
